TAHLIL FOR YEOP (TO BE CONFIRMED) AT BANGSAR MOSQUE 10/6/99

Yeop passed away just after midnight on Friday night. His body was taken to

Ipoh for burial (his final wishes). Mace, Chope, Razak Tidok, Rijal and me

went up to Ipoh for the funeral. Tanjo & Farah came down from Lumut.There

were several others from the Birkenhead/Liverpool gang. We arrived around

12.00 noon and managed to catch the doa part of the funeral rites.

Naim: my apologies for not returning your call. My battery went dead

immediately after I left home & I forgot my car charger.

Duyung: Got your yesterday's message too about the tahlil this morning (my

handphone was out the whole day). I hope you managed to call Tanjo about

the matter.

We are planning a tahlil session at Bangsar mosque this Thursday night.

Please stay tuned for confirmation.

For those who wish to visit Yeop's family, they are at 3 Lorong Gopeng,

Taman Golf (off Jalan Gopeng), Ipoh. It is the first house as you enter

Taman Golf and visible from the main road (Jalan Gopeng). Yeop was buried

at the cemetery in Rapat Setia (Kg Rapat?) near the Sekolah Latihan TUDM

(off Jalan Lapangan Terbang). I forgot the name of the cemetery.

Kidin & Naim: I got the Essiac tea to Yeop the morning before his death.

We'll never know if the tea works. :^(--ak-

Yeop, as you guys may have been aware, is not well (for more info pls log onto eGroup.com).

A group of us went to see him today. He is ok but needs regular medical attention. Visiting time is only around 6:00pm on Tuesdays. For more news pls visit eGroup.com

30-8-1998: MC7377 Golf "tournament"

Venue: Kajang Hill Golf Resort

Tee off : 1.30 pm approx.

Players:

First Flight: Dogoi, KAIO, Boeing, Zamzam

Second Flight: Lanang, Mache, Duyung

Highlights: Somebody was given a 10-foot putt. Thanks to KAIO.

Results: 1) zamzam 2) duyung
last year defending champion - KAIO
